Julia has helped me immensely with my breathing pattern disorder in the early stages of my POTS diagnosis. She conducted an exceptionally thorough assessment and created a personalised evidence-based treatment plan, tailored specifically to my needs and lifestyle.

Julia conducts her sessions with an incredibly understanding and personal approach, and used a range of techniques to guide me through my treatment plan. Julia also provided me with a range of written resources and diagrams to help consolidate the information that she provided.

Julia’s sessions have helped me return to work, which was particularly important to me. I can’t recommend her more highly.

Julia is fantastic, so friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. I took my 16-year-old son to see Julia after being diagnosed by the GP with asthma and being on medication and inhalers for a year. He experienced episodes where he struggled to breathe and would collapse, but my instinct was it wasn’t asthma. Julia was so understanding and explored all the issues to help my son. After the initial consultation, thanks to the information and awareness, my son didn’t need his Ventolin inhaler anymore and had no “asthma attacks” and even set a new PB at swimming after just one week! We then worked with the GP to plan the way forward, thanks to Julia’s guidance five weeks after his first appointment he was free of medication!

We will continue to see Julia for exercises and support to sustain this and are so grateful that she was able to help my son. Julia is friendly, really good at sharing her knowledge and her general communication is fantastic. The MS centre is easy and convenient for appointments with plenty of parking.

What more can I say, if you have breathing issues and nothing seems to be quite working get in touch with Julia to explore it further as simple things have made such a massive impact to my son, I can’t thank her enough!

I went to see Julia after being diagnosed with a Breathing Pattern Disorder caused by Psychological Trauma. I had been suffering with horrible symptoms for quite a few years, particularly ectopic heartbeats/palpitations, headaches, fatigue and difficulty breathing properly which all impacted my quality of life greatly. Julia understood completely what and why I was experiencing my symptoms and formulated a treatment plan which I have been following ever since and has improved my quality of life beyond measure. I now rarely experience these awful symptoms and have tools to deal with them when I do.

I would thoroughly recommend Julia as she is very professional, experienced and committed to her work and is also very kind, empathic and friendly. I can’t thank her enough.

Finding Julia has made a huge difference to my daughter’s well-being. She had been very unwell earlier in the year with recurring chest infections, shortness of breath and newly diagnosed allergies and asthma. She struggled with shortness of breath and after seeing Julia, she was given a very thorough assessment and made to feel at ease, we were given exercises to treat her breathing disorder pattern as well as treatments and advice around her allergies and asthma.

Julia was so welcoming and knowledgeable. I particularly wanted someone who had experience with children and we were prepared to travel and it was worth it. Julia gave us some great exercises to do at home, and her shortness of breath has improved significantly. Thank you!

Julia is a diligent and hardworking physiotherapist. She helped me to find practical and manageable ways of living with Long Covid. She constantly seeks out the most up-to-date information and will get in touch if she comes across anything that might help me. I am so grateful to Julia for her kind and knowledgeable treatment. I was struggling with debilitating symptoms of a Breathing Pattern Disorder, asthma and post viral fatigue. Julia supported me over several weeks, not only giving me optimism to see that I could get better, but structuring exercises so that real improvements were felt quickly.
